RP‑Musanze College Staff Establish Pan‑African Movement
On November 26, 2025, the staff of RP‑Musanze College took a historic step by establishing a Pan‑African Movement within the institution. This initiative marks a significant milestone in strengthening unity, fostering patriotism, and promoting the values of Pan‑Africanism among educators and the wider academic community.
During the founding session, the leadership of the movement was elected, with Dr. Janvier Munyaneza chosen as Chairperson alongside nine other committee members who will guide the vision and activities of the movement. Their collective mandate is to inspire a renewed sense of responsibility, solidarity, and commitment to the ideals of Pan‑Africanism.
The event also featured a training session that explored the history of Pan‑Africanism, mindset transformation, and patriotism. The training was delivered by Dr. Jean de la Croix Nkurayija, Commissioner of Education at PAM‑Rwanda, whose insights provided participants with a deeper understanding of the movement’s roots and its relevance to contemporary challenges.
By establishing this Pan‑African Movement, RP‑Musanze College staff have demonstrated their dedication to nurturing a generation of educators and students who embrace unity, resilience, and a shared vision for Africa’s future.
