NO NEED TO WAIT UNTIL DESPAIR DRIES YOU UP !
“No need to wait until despair dries you up.” These are the words spoken by Graduands who graduated from IPRC Musanze on their great day of celebration for the award od Advanced Diploma on 28th June 2018. It was the first graduation ceremony to both IPRC Musanze and Rwanda Polytechnic at Kicukiro stadium.
Some of them said that they are very proud of being graduated from IPRC Musanze because it is a school which helped them much to reach their dreams. “Most of us like 97% are employed in different industries and our performance is highly appreciated. Nothing else is the pushing cause except the way we have been trained for professionalism by IPRC Musanze. For me as I can see the way we are very wanted on job market, I wonder how it is the very first promotion! I encourage my fellow students to follow us next to heed from pieces of advice from their instructors and lecturers because we are facing their great importance on ground now.” One of the graduates said.
Another one added “we are very thankful to IPRC Musanze. It was hard to realise what will be the result at the beginning as a newly established technical institution and we were the first promotion. But we are very proud of what we are today. We are the first promotion and we have had chance to reap what we have sown before even celebrating this great joyous day. I can now rejoice of being trained in technical school. To people who did this technical field of education, they don’t wait until despair dries them up. We are very wanted and we know what and how to do things using our hands and brain. So, we hope to shape our future using our hands on skills”
The vice Chancellor of Rwanda Polytechnic, Dr James GASHUMBA, in his welcome speech, he thanked very much the graduands and guests who have come to cerebrate with Rwanda Polytechnic (RP). He said “on behalf of Rwanda Polytechnic (RP), I extend to all graduands my warm congratulations for their success. It is not just RP rejoicing, but your families and indeed our nation as well; we all look to the benefits of the investment made in your education.”
He added: “Be proud of what you have worked to achieve and remember those who have supported you to reach this end.”
The guest of honour, Hon. Minister of Education Dr Eugene MUTIMURA encouraged the graduates to work hard and contribute to the social-economic growth of the country. “We have no doubt that you graduates who have graduated today, are going to be successful innovators and entrepreneurs and contribute to social economic transformation of our nation,” Hon. Minister said.
He also reminded the graduates to keep in their memories the value of hard working. He said: “Dear Graduands, as you cerebrate today, hold your memories in one hand, but leave the other open for your life is just beginning, and the world that awaits you is endless. With knowledge and skills in your hands, and open heart, you will have nothing but success. Congratulations!”
In terms of encouragement towards working hard, Hon. Minister of Education Dr Eugene MUTIMURA awarded the best performers (one per each college, the overall female performer and the best project amongst all projects).
