IPRC Musanze won a prize of the best exhibitor
In a closing ceremony of the Northern Province Mini Expo 2019, IPRC Musanze got a prize of the best exhibitor among the higher learning institutions that were exhibiting in the Mini Expo 2019 that took place from the 14th November to the 25th November 2019 in Musanze district.
During this exhibition, IPRC Musanze showcased different projects and innovations in line with the academic programmes it offers. Both projects and innovations of IPRC Musanze are designed in a way that they respond to the pressing issues of the community and they promote the Made in Rwanda programme.
Officially closing the Northern Province Mini Expo 2019, the Governor of the Northern Province, Gatabazi Jean Marie Vianney, thanked all exhibitors for their role in the growth of the national economy. He thanked the higher learning institutions for their participation in the promotion of Made in Rwanda by manufacturing the quality locally-made products.
In her remarks, Mukanyarwaya Donatha, the representative of the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in the Northern Province revealed that the exhibitors were 142. She thanked all entrepreneurs for their participation in the exhibition and for the commitment to promote their business. She mentioned that the exhibitors came from different sectors including manufacturing, construction, ICT, clothing and textile, agro-processing among others. Mukanyarwaya also acknowledged a vital role of the stakeholders in conducting a successful Mini Expo.
Simbi Aime Jules, the CEO of RCGF Rwanda Ltd, who spoke on behalf of the exhibitors, thanked the Northern Province for the opportunity given to entrepreneurs to exhibit their products. He mentioned that during the exhibitions, exhibitors get time to interact with their potential customers and get the constructive feedback from them to improve their products and services. He finally said that it was an opportunity for entreprenuers to not only sell their products but also network with other industry players.
The Made in Rwanda was initiated in 2015 with the aim of the promoting local manufacturing.
