IPRC Musanze Staff donated Health Insurance to 320 vulnerable citizens
On this 29th June 2019, IPRC Musanze Staff donated the Health Insurance to 320 vulnerable citizens in Nkotsi sector, Musanze district. The beneficiaries are mainly in the category 2 and 3 of Ubudehe who are not able to pay their Health Insurance.
The Principal of IPRC Musanze, Eng. Emile ABAYISENGA, revealed that the donated Health Insurance to vulnerable citizens is a result of Staff commitment through the contributions they gathered to support the vulnerable people in the neighborhood of IPRC Musanze. He mentioned that the beneficiaries will start getting access to health care using the donated health Insurance in this coming July 2019. The Principal stated that through the community outreach activities, IPRC Musanze Staff also supports citizens by donating them houses and livestock to improve their social welfare.
The Mayor of Musanze district, Jean Damascène HABYARIMANA, expressed his gratitude towards IPRC Musanze Staff for the noble support to the community. He thanked IPRC Musanze Staff for their contribution in the implementation of the government programmes to improve the lives of Rwandans. He added that the good health of citizens is the foundation of their development; and ensuring that all our residents have health insurance is a goal for Musanze district.
Mwitirehe Phoibe, one of the beneficiaries, said that she was worried much about her life in the coming year of 2019-2020, wondering how she will get heath care. She said that she will no longer get sick and stay bedridden at home. She added that her life will be better and she will be able to work and contribute to the growth of the country.
