IPRC Musanze participates in the inauguration of Nyabihu TVET School & RCA
The 22nd February 2019 marked the official inauguration of Nyabihu TVET & Rwanda Coding Academy, a modern school based at Nyabihu established by the government of Rwanda. This new school was inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Dr. Eugène Mutimura.
Nyabihu TVET trains young Rwandans in four trades namely; Culinary Art, Food processing, Welding, and Leathercraft. Nyabihu TVET was established to foster the access to TVET and respond to the labour market needs.
This new school hosts the Rwanda Coding Academy (RCA); a school initiated by the government to enable students in STEM shape their coding career to become software engineers. RCA is a specialized vocational coding school that focuses on training in software development, embedded systems, and cyber security. It aims at addressing the issue of the severe shortage of high caliber software experts on Rwandan market by producing a pool of world class Rwandan software engineers, specialized in the fields of software programing, embedded systems and cyber security.
During this event, all IPRCs exhibited students’ projects and innovations. IPRC Musanze showcased the following projects that impact the lives of citizens:
1. Biodegradable Solid Waste Crushing Machine

2. Corn Thresher Machine

3.Self-Travelling Sprinkler
4. Food Processing products
5. Hotel Services (Fast Food: Banana Flambé)
